WorldCopy (摹界) Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 20, 2026
WorldCopy (whose source and internal bundle components may use the name “Snap3D”) is designed to capture, reconstruct, generate, view, and export 3D models on your device. It does not require an account and does not include advertising, analytics, tracking, or a developer-operated upload service.
Data WorldCopy uses on your device
WorldCopy may use the following data only to provide features you choose:
previews, quality reports, and local performance diagnostics.
- camera images and video;
- LiDAR depth, ARKit environment meshes, camera poses, and intrinsics;
- device motion, gravity, and gyroscope samples associated with a capture;
- photos or videos you explicitly select with Apple's system picker;
- prompts, subject photos or four-view images you explicitly select, generated 3D models,
- on Mac, `.wc3d` packages you explicitly open or drop into WorldCopy.
This user content is processed inside the app sandbox on your device. Apple manages separately downloaded hosted model assets where that delivery path is available; Mac model packs live inside the app sandbox. Neither is a capture, prompt, image, or model created by you. WorldCopy does not automatically transmit your content to the developer or a third-party server.
Storage, retention, and deletion
Completed models and their retained capture material remain on your device until you delete them in WorldCopy or remove the app. You can choose whether new models retain their original capture data. Incomplete or interrupted work may be kept locally for recovery and is limited or cleaned by the app's stated retention rules. Temporary export and sharing files are removed after use or by the app's cleanup process.
On Mac, a selected `.wc3d` source is not modified. After integrity validation, WorldCopy stores a private project copy under Application Support; temporary import staging is deleted on failure or cancellation.
WorldCopy provides storage and recovery controls in Settings and the model library. Deleting a model removes the local data described by the deletion confirmation. On iOS, deleting the app removes its local app data; offloading the app may retain data. On Mac, deleting the application may leave its data container behind. Delete unwanted projects in the app first. Exported copies and system backups must be managed separately.
Sharing and external apps
WorldCopy does not upload your content to its provider. Content is handed to another app only when you explicitly export, save, copy, or share it, or when you choose to open another app or website. Opening an AI image app from the prompt guide first copies the prompt you approved to the system clipboard. The receiving app, service, or website then handles that data under its own privacy policy.
Permissions
Camera, world-sensing, and motion permissions support on-device capture and 3D reconstruction. Add-only Photos permission is requested only when you ask to save a composed image. Photo and video imports use Apple's system picker so WorldCopy does not request access to your full photo library. The Mac app does not capture with a camera; it uses App Sandbox user-selected-file access only when you choose or drop a package.
Third-party software
WorldCopy includes third-party libraries and uses separate Apple-hosted, on-device AI resources for the modeling or texturing features you choose. A resource downloads only after you select the corresponding feature and accept its terms. These resources do not add an automatic user-content collection channel. Third-party license notices are available inside the app.
Children
WorldCopy is not directed specifically to children and knowingly collects no personal data from children or other users.
Changes and contact
Material changes to this policy will be published at this URL and reflected in the app where appropriate. For privacy or support questions, open an issue at <https://github.com/GPTAlgoPro/worldcopy-site/issues>. Do not include private capture data or other sensitive information in a public issue.
